Strid3 Athletic offers one of the lowest MOQs (Minimum order quantities) in the custom sock and accessories market.

All MOQ’s are on a per SIZE, DESIGN, STYLE and COLOURWAY basis. We have tried to keep things as simple as possible so Strid3 Athletic are available to all teams! 

Here is a breakdown of our MOQ: 

SOCKS

MOQ: 30 PAIRS PER-SIZE, DESIGN, STYLE & COLOURWAY. 

WRIST SOCKS

MOQ: 25 PAIRS PER-SIZE, DESIGN, STYLE & COLOURWAY.

HEAD SOCKS

MOQ: 50 UNITS

Our Head Socks come in one size. It is possible to split the order into 2-3 Designs/Colourways.

Can I order under minimum in one size? 

Unfortunately due to the terms with our supplier, there is a strict 30 pair minimum per size so this will be the lowest we can go in one size.

Are single sample pairs available? 

Please note that if you request a sample pair of your custom design, it will incur a sampling and sample shipping cost of approximately £50.

Single-pair purchases are exclusively offered for Strid3 Athletic stock and licensed ranges. This is because custom designs require a minimum order quantity of 30 pairs per size. However, we do have some spare samples from past orders that can be provided upon request for physical sampling purposes.

SOCKS

Our socks are all unisex sizes. We offer two sizes as standard:

• S/M
• M/L

Based on our research, we have determined that these two sizes will accommodate the majority of individuals.

If you are looking to accommodate specific sizes then we can offer sizes which consist of:

• Small
• Medium
• L/XL

With the minimum requirement of 30 pairs per size in mind, if you prefer to keep the order quantity to a minimum, we recommend opting for a size medium with a one-size-fits-all approach. As previously mentioned regarding the accommodation of the majority, a size medium would be the most suitable choice for a one-size option.

Listed below are the size ranges covered by our options, along with their corresponding (US) size conversions. Please note that the sizes provided are based on both UK and (US) shoe sizes. Keep in mind that due to the elasticity of the socks, some overlap in sizing may occur.

• M/L: 7-11 (8-12)

• XS: 1-4.5 (1-5.5)
• Small: 3-6.5 (4-7.5)
• Medium: 6-10 (7-11)
• L/XL: 9+ (10+)

WRIST SOCKS

Our Wrist Socks are available in two sizes (Lengths) as standard:

• 5 inch
• 6 inch

Alternate lengths can be provided upon request, though it may impact the design.

HEAD SOCKS

Our Head Socks are offered in a one-size-fits-all standard. However, please note that we also offer different styles and materials, which may result in slight variations in fit for each style.

In addition to the wide range of sizes, we also provide a variety of lengths to cater to various preferences and requirements.

The different lengths we offer have been designed to accommodate a wide range of needs. While we make every effort to offer sample options, if that's not possible, you can refer to the sock height measurements below to get a sense of how each style sits on the leg. Alternatively, you can also check our social media for additional insights. 

All measurements are from the bottom of the heel to the top of the sock. 

Full Crew: 25cm / 9.8 inches 

Mid Crew: 18cm / 7.1 inches 

Quarter Crew: 13cm / 5.1 inches

Ankle / No Show: 8cm / 3.1 inches 

With a wide range to choose from, we have something for any team and any occasion. It doesn’t matter which style you choose as we use the same sublimation process printing onto all sock styles. By doing this we make sure you get the same finishing touch to excellence no matter what you go for.

Premium: Named premium for a reason! Perfect for high impact sports and activities, from practice to the competition floor, it will keep you and your team going until the very end! It also provides the highest level of cushioning, support, ventilation and grip. You won’t be missed either with your logo proudly standing out for everyone to see! 

 

Classic: We will let you into a little secret… the classic is exactly the same as the premium range with the same high quality printing materials, the only difference is that it is 30% thinner providing you with a lightweight structure which is perfect for when the climate and temperature is on the warmer side. 

 

Full Sub: The full sub is the most versatile in our range from a design point of view, with full wrap around print coverage, the print window runs the full length of the sock (Please note that the toe section is excluded from printing, as the sock is printed on a tube and it's not feasible to print onto the stretched portion that covers the end of the tube). You even have the option of two separate designs on each foot. Even with full design flexibility you don’t lose out on performance as the full sub still includes the reinforced athletic sole which comes in black or white which makes the full sub super super comfy. With all of this in mind you have the perfect sock for sport or casual use!   

 

Business Crew: With the same build up as the classic, the business crew is perfect for the office athletes among us. What makes this business sock unique is that it has the same print window you will find on our athletic socks so you can really make your business/company logo stand out. So along with the same high level of comfort you would normally get you could say this is the perfect business sock! 

 

Business Knit: The business knit is a fully custom knit dress sock that is great for any business occasion. These are a high quality fully knitted design which allows you to use up to 5 colours anywhere on the sock.

 

Embroidered: The embroidered sock has the same base structure of the premium but we take out the sublimation window and replace it with the 1-2” x 1-2” embroidery area.

Custom orders within the UK will have a minimum shipping fee of £10 (larger orders may have a slightly higher shipping cost) unless any special offers including free shipping are in place. For orders outside the UK, including Southern Ireland, there will be a blind shipment fee of £25 USD. This means your order will be shipped directly from our supplier to you, covering the expenses for import and customs etc. Trust us, it's a better option to avoid any extra unexpected surprise costs if we send it from our headquarters!

Our typical turnaround time for custom socks is approximately 6-8 weeks. We strive to expedite this process whenever possible, though this timeframe is primarily set to account for potential production delays or shipping hiccups. Seasonal factors, such as holidays like Christmas or other significant events, may also introduce slight delays. If sampling is requested, please factor in an additional week or two.

For custom wrist and head socks, our turnaround time is generally a bit quicker, with an estimated timeframe of 4-6 weeks.

We have 3 ways of ordering: 

1) Via invoice (our most popular option):

If you prefer not to showcase your design on the website, we can arrange for an invoice to be sent directly to your email. This invoice can be settled through a convenient bank transfer. Please be aware that payment must be received prior to placing your order with the supplier.

2) Your very own order page: 

We will create a dedicated product page exclusively for your unique design, providing you and your team with easy access to view and make purchases. This page will be accessible through our custom design collection page (click [here] for reference). Your order page will be securely stored on the site, allowing you the convenience to re-order or add new designs at your convenience.

On your dedicated page, you can specify the desired size and adjust the quantity, starting from a minimum of 30 units, to match your preferred order quantity.

3. Pre-order Fundraiser: (COMING SOON)

This allows you to “Raise the funds" for your socks, by utilising this option it allows you to collect individual order payments up front until the minimum quantity you would like to order is achieved. Not everyone has the budget to purchase a bulk order, so you can pay off all or a large chunk of the payment before the order is placed.

The process is really easy and efficient to use. Once you've decided and confirmed your preferred designs, simply:

• Determine the amount of socks you would like to raise funds for (e.g. 120 pairs) 
• Set the amount of time you would like the pre-order to run for. 
• Promote and build excitement for your awesome designs!

Your team/followers accessing your product page will see exactly how many days are left in your pre-order fundraiser, and how close you are to reaching your order goal. Your team/followers can also individually order their own socks (no set amount so they can order as many pairs as they like).

As you go through the pre-order set up you will provide a designated shipping address and once your goal is reached, you order will be processed and shipped to that address. We will also provide you with the pre-order data so you know exactly who has paid and how many pairs they have paid for - easy distribution!  

Pre-order FAQ’s

We didn’t reach our target, what happens now?

No problem! If you need to, you can extend the time of your fundraiser. Or if you’re close to your target, simply cover the cost of the remaining pairs. 

Do minimums apply?

Yes, there will be a minimum of at least 30 pairs per size, design, style & colourway. You can select any amount of pairs you like above 30 pairs but bulk discounts won’t be applied until you hit the next minimum tier. e.g unit price will reduce once you hit 60 units and will then reduce again once you hit 90 units and so on. 

Can we set our own price?

Yes! As long as its above the price per unit, not a problem. Setting your own price can reduce any hassle of collecting extra funds once your socks arrive. We will arrange to credit the difference once the order is complete. 

Would you be able to send out individual pairs to separate addresses once the order is complete?

No, unfortunately not, like mentioned above, during the set up process you will provide a single designated shipping address. All socks will be delivered to single address. 

Can we have a sample for our members to view?

Of course! We have a few options we can provide. Please see the sample section and you can confirm what kind of sample you would like to see.

We maybe able to push an order through quicker for an additional charge, however this will be on the discretion of the supplier and no guarantee will be offered. Please make this request known as soon as possible in the process and we will do our best to help you achieve this. 

How do I submit a design?

First, head to our design page, from there you can then choose the style of sock you would like, the length, the base colour (or choose complete custom), choose a background and then finally upload your artwork.

Alternatively you can also send any logos or artwork directly to our email address or through a direct message on Instagram. We're here to make the process as convenient as possible for you.

Important: Uploading Images

We highly recommend including images that might support our designers. For example, include any background patterns if you don’t wish to use stock patterns and also any images of any kit your team already wears. This will help our designers make sure we put that finishing touch to excellence for you.

Background patterns

In addition to adding your logo or text to the print area, we also have a wide range of background patterns to apply that can really add a special touch to the design and really help make your logo pop and stand out! Don’t like any of our stock backgrounds? No worries we can essentially apply any background pattern to your design, if you have one in mind please send the vector file through with all of the other artwork, we can recolour the background to match up with your design if required. If you don't wish to have a background at all, totally fine, we will just match it up to the base colour of the sock.

Where will my design be printed and what colours are available?

 You will notice two main areas of our printed socks:   

• The Base of the Sock  
• The Print Area (sublimation panel)  
  

The print area is the rectangular panel between just below the elasticated top band of the sock and stops just above the ankle and this is where your design is printed (sublimated). The best part… due to being polyester this area can support unlimited colours! So your design possibilities are endless!           

The main section of the sock is referred to as the base. Although customization options for the base area are limited, we do provide a range of preset base colors that can enhance your design. When creating your sock, you'll have the option to select your preferred base colors using the design form. If you have a specific color code in mind for a fully custom design, please let us know, and we'll do our best to match it as closely as possible. Keep in mind that this may potentially extend the completion time for your order.

 

What can be printed onto the socks? 

 In short anything! You have pretty much unlimited potential when it comes to the design artwork that is then sublimated onto the sock. Our socks start as pre-knit bases (unless you choose to fully customise your order) The printed designs are then applied to the socks using a Digital Ink printing process (sublimation) which creates a vivid, clear and crisp print onto the design area. There are however a few things to keep in mind:

 

• If you want the most professional results, provide vector images of your artwork (EPS, AI, PSD formats)(often sent as source files from designers). Vector graphics are made of points and lines related to each other to form polygons, which are then filled with colours, tints, or gradients. On the other hand, raster files such as JPEG or PNG files use pixels to create a complete image. A digital image created using vector graphics has many advantages:

• It is not dependent on resolution, this means you can zoom in as much as you need without images losing their quality, this makes it easily—and infinitely—scalable.
• The file-size is relatively small, even for large images.
• You can save a vector file in different formats if you need to.
• It allows the image to be easily manipulated if necessary.

Why not JPEG or PNG files? We can absolutely work with these file types (and more often than not these are the only files types available to people) but JPEGs or PNG files can be poor raster graphic files which can lead to rough edges, blurry images and distortion which leads to a subpar quality image once printed onto the sock. 

We wish to provide you with nothing but the best quality image so keep this in mind when sending across your artwork, this way, we can guarantee the colours match, the design will be clear and crisp, and there will be no distortion to the logo.

Where are the designs printed on different styles?  

All of our sublimated Premium, Classic and Business socks all feature a printing area that is 3.5 by 4.5 inches tall (this can be extended to 3.5 x 6.5 inches tall on full crew styles). The only acceptation to this design area is the full sub sock which is an all over print design. The rest of the sock is a pre-knit base and cannot be altered. The design areas are made from polyester and is the space we apply our digital ink printing.

Embroidered Designs 

The whole of our embroidered range starts off as a premium base without the design print panel, the embroidered design is then applied to the sock.  As a guide, dimensions for embroidered logos are 1 x 1 inch (25.4mm x 25.4mm) max for square logos, and 2 x 2 inch (50.8mm x 50.8mm) max for circle logos.

Please note: No more than eight colours can be applied to each design.

Looking to load up on custom socks? It's probably not a bad idea to organise a sample. We offer a number of different ways for you to test out both the visual and physical aspects of our socks.

Photos of Custom Samples

Once you have confirmed you’re happy with your designs and placed your order a sample will be produced by the factory. From there, upon request and free of charge, we can provide you with the product images direct from the factory for approval. This is a great way of seeing exactly how the finished product will look and if you feel any adjustments need to be made we can request this before the remaining pairs are produced (please be aware this will put a delay in production and shipping of your order).

Stock Samples

We have a heap of Strid3 Athletic original stock examples for you to try, a stock sample is a great way to get an idea of how the sock fits, the level of comfort and the quality of the printed design. 

Stock samples will cost £5 plus postage.

Custom Samples - Printed & Embroidered

We are happy to offer the production and shipping of physical samples for your custom design. It's important to note that this option comes with associated costs, including artwork setup, manufacturing, and sample shipping fees. The estimated cost for samples is approximately £50, although the final amount will be confirmed before proceeding with the sample production. In the event that you require multiple samples, please be aware that there will be an additional cost to cover the production of each additional pair.

This amount however, will be refunded if your subsequent order total exceeds 120 pairs.

All custom orders will include a postage charge of £10. Please note that this charge may increase for larger orders.

We frequently run promotions with free shipping, so be sure to watch for those!

For orders outside of the UK, we offer direct shipping from our supplier through a blind shipment method at a cost of $30 USD. This option provides a more cost-effective solution for you as our supplier has established excellent relationships with shipping companies. It covers both shipping fees and any associated customs and duties, which can accumulate if shipped from our location in the UK, especially for larger orders. Please be aware that orders not dispatched directly from our supplier may have varying pricing and may be subject to additional customs and duties based on your country of residence.

Once your custom design order has been placed standard turnaround time and delivery is aimed around 6-8 weeks.

All custom orders within the UK will be shipped via Strid3 Athletic HQ in order to conduct a quality control check before being shipped to you. This is to ensure the highest of standards are met before we are happy enough for you to receive your goods. There is no extra cost to you however this will delay the journey by 1-2 days. Excellence takes time but its worth waiting for! 

All custom orders outside of the UK will be shipped directly to you (to keep shipping times to a minimum). 

All custom sock orders are shipped via international recognised couriers such as: DHL, UPS or FEDEX for example. We maybe able to push an order through quicker for an additional charge, however this will be on the discretion of the supplier and no guarantee will be offered. Please make this request known as soon as possible in the process and we will do our best to help you achieve this. 

We know it may not be rocket science to be able to wash a pair of socks but there are a few things we like to consider when taking care of our socks to make sure they stay in the best condition and keep you at the top of your game for longer!
